One Room Challenge: Planning Phase
Hello, friends! Welcome back to my blog, where I'm documenting my journey through the One Room Challenge (ORC). As I embark on this exciting project, I'm thrilled to share that I'm currently in the planning phase.
In addition to fabric selection, I'm also playing around with floorplanning options. I'm considering the room's dimensions, the flow of traffic, and the placement of furniture to create a functional and beautiful space. It's amazing how different layouts can completely transform the feel of a room!
As I continue to plan and refine my design, I'll be sharing regular updates with you. From fabric swatches to floorplans, I'll be giving you a behind-the-scenes look at my creative process. Stay tuned for more insights into my ORC journey!

Hello, friends! I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be participating in the One Room Challenge (ORC) this year! For those who may be new to the ORC, it's a bi-annual design challenge where bloggers and designers transform one room in just eight weeks. The challenge is hosted by Linda Weinstein of Calling It Home, and it's an incredible opportunity to push my creativity, showcase my design style, and connect with other talented designers.

This spring, I'll be transforming my stale bedroom into a vibrant living space that nurtures my mind, body, and soul.
This project comes with its own set of challenges:
- Shopping ban: I'll be shopping my home only, using items I already own to reduce waste and get creative.
- Improving air quality: As someone who values wellness, I'll be incorporating air-purifying plants and natural materials to enhance the indoor air quality.
- Toddler-friendly: I'll be sharing this space with my little one, so I need to ensure the design is both beautiful and functional for our lifestyle.
My goal is to create a peaceful retreat that sparks joy and inspires creativity. I envision a space that exudes warmth and coziness, incorporates natural textures and materials, features calming colors and patterns and provides ample storage and functional spaces for our toddler-friendly needs
